February 2009

A New Anonymous Project....Dead In The Water:
Some Koreans built this new place...with the intent of it being some Asian-geared KTV-joint with 17 private rooms. The interior isn’t even finished, and now
it’s up for lease/sale. Go figure. Nice place though. Down the street from Efren’s Refrigeration.

The Clark-entry to SMClark is now opening even daytime. Of course the auxiliary entrance/exit somehow requires FIVE security guards chaperoned by CDC Police....checking your trunk/backseat.......while all motorists whisk into the two-laned main entrance....often manned by one sole security guard....without even a glance. Sort of like guarding your side door with a vengeance while keeping the front door wide open. A portrait of Pinoy logic at its best. LOL!

There is a neat little billiard-cue shop across from the Pacific Breeze. It’s worth checking out.

Police Station 4:

Ya, they relocated a clump of officers from there...including their commander. Ya, they have a new Military-Academy brass in-command to reportedly clean up the place. Who gives a shit anyways? The vast majority of both visitors and residents in AC have NEVER anything to deal with involving those folks.

Da Bars:

Midnight Rodeo/Cuzo Hosto Bar:

Beside Roy’s Pub on that dark street behind the Orchid Inn. What a lousy joint. Only fuglies. Pinoy macho thugs hanging out at weekends at the above Cuzo (or whatever the fuck it’s called) Hosto Bar (male-dancer bar). Yuck! LOL!

Valhalla: (The old DMZ Bar)

Still shitty girls. Absolutely NO improvement.

Spinners Bar (Formerly C How U R Bar) near Hensonville:

Opened.....AGAIN!....the new owners scrapped the neat little ST-rooms on the right of the bar and converted them into “stay-in” rooms for his tiny contingent
of girls. What a fucking stupid thing to do...considering his primarily expat-clientele...most of whom have wives/GFs. His prime concern is now...in tiling
the floor under the pool-table area. LOL! Hello Guy! No one gives a shit! All they want is girls and ST-facilities! Some shit-for-brains never learn. LOL!

Tropics Bar:

Meet the sole Dollhouse Group Bar with a Poreigner-Papasan. Its Stewart from Kokomos eons ago, and the former Volcano Bar (Now Sir Lancelot). Love him or hate him, he is a fun guy to have around. Here at Shitbox AC Newsletter, we rarely EVER give a rat’s penis about male managers/papasans in any bar, but it was worthy to point out the fact in relation to the “Papasan-less” Dollhouse Group. Perhaps this will be the sole bar in the group that has a fighting chance.

On another note, the Dollhouse Group is STILL struggling to pay their lease on the ‘ol ChickNRibs Restaurant beside Blue Nile, and while they are starving for cash to reno/built a new megabar there, they have converted it into a “stay-in” for their plethora of Double-LD/ST for LT-pay girls. LOL!

Studebakers/Formerly Callilac Jack’s:

Under ANOTHER reno. The current owner of Cold Drop is behind it. It might actually miraculously turn out good.

Cheers Bar:

Closed. Why? Who gives a shit? It’s just closed for good. They even wanked the mirrors and furnishings out of there. Listen, it’s no rocket-
science....absentee barowner with girlfriend running the bar. What’s to wonder? LOL!

Happy Rock: (Formerly “Goodtimes Bar”)

Yes, it has re-opened...with two highly-creative words added prior to the name; “Aussie Bar”. Whoopee! LOL! Trying to find a EWR-able nubile in there...is
like being a rock in a hard place. LOL! Personally, I give the joint 6-8 months max. LOL! It completely escapes my why the fuck anyone would open a bar and
not give a shit about the girls they hire.

Neros Forum:

Paint-Job completed...along with some senseless blue flicker-lights above the Neros logo. LOL! Otherwise, Mommy Perla is still hobbling around...encouraging
her girls to pull STs on LT-paying customers. LOL!

SkyTrax:

Reno finished. Reopened. The joint looks sharp. They also upped the prices abit, to hopefully keep the riffraff out. LOL!

Hotels/Apartelles:
Valentino’s Luxury Hotel:

(045)625-4703 email: info@valentinoshotel.com Website: www.valentinoshotel.com

That new joint on the corner of Rosario St. is now open. They call themselves a; “Luxury Boutique Hotel”.....no pool, no restaurant, no amenities.
Interesting. They got a decent location though...right in the heart of things...but distant enough from the noise. Wifi in all rooms.

Prices: Exec: 2700php, Balcony: 2450php, Deluxe 1950php. The rooms only differ in size abit. The balcony rooms offer a view of squalor....certainly not worth
an extra 750php. LOL!

Hotel EuroAsia:

(formerly Europhil) (045) 625-7777 No Website. Email: susanmanansala@yahoo.com

Big surprise! The joint is STILL not opened! The guppies in charge of the place seem completely clueless. The room rates are as follows:

Standard: 1550php, Deluxe: 1850php, Suite w Shower: 2180php, Executive Suite w Bathtub: 2550php, Premiere Suite w Jacuzzi: 3200php, Presidential Suite w
Jacuzzi: 4500php.

These room prices area recipe for confusion. LOL! The lower priced room are TEENY-TINY!!! I mean they are sheer claustrophobic! LOL! They equate with those
miniscule rooms the Clarkton offers on the ground floor on the right side of the building. I mean it feels like a fucking shoebox! LOL! The difference
between the Standard and Deluxe is small. LOL! (pardon the pun) Of course they all have showers! LOL!...not just the “Suite w shower”. The prime difference
is that the pricier rooms have KingSize beds and are a bit larger rooms.

Their bathrooms have no soap dish, no towel-rod, not even a vanity-cabinet for the pedestal sink. The rooms only sport a desk that cradles the TV, but don’t
even have that floor-cabinet to lay your suitcase on. Someone has really reno’d this place on the low-ball. Other than new paint, flooring and furniture,
there is nothing sparkling “new” about that place.

The restaurant is also small....like an afterthought. They couldn’t serve breakfast to any more than 10 rooms in that place. LOL! The pool is nicer than
before. I gotta give ‘em that. LOL! They are hoping for “conventions” as they added a rear “banquet-style” hall.

Villa Modesto:

It’s DEFINATELY being completed as a ST-Hotel. Not bad looking actually. It’s reported to be open within 6 months.

Bangkok Hotel:

(045)892-1818 Email: hotelbangkok@yahoo.co.kr

This joint has been open for awhile. Tiny rooms. (The Koreans seem to love tiny rooms. LOL!)
King size beds, wifi, safety-box in-room, free drinking water, generator. Small restaurant but very nice.

Room Rates: New Superior; 1850php, Standard Rooms; 1100php, Deluxe Rooms; 1450php, Superior Rooms; 1650php, Executive Rooms; 2200php. I don’t know why these
hotels offer such a confusing array of rooms, that are almost totally alike. LOL! They have a surprisingly nice Spa/Massage place attached to the Hotel that
sports a price....along with full use of a decent facility...including sauna and Jacuzzi...for a far less price that hose rip-off joints just around the bend
along Fields Ace.

Walkabout Hotel:

(045)625-6154 Website: www.walkabout-hotel.com Email: walkabout.hotel@hotmail.com

Ok, so you guys wanna CONSTANTLY remind us that the owners are Australian. Who gives a flying fucking shit! LOL!

Wifi access in rooms, Standard Room: 1400php, Deluxe; 1600php, VIP Room; 2000php, VIP Jacuzzi; 2600php, 2 Bed Family Suite; 2400php. A highly reasonable
price-range. The rooms are.....Okay. That is all.

You get a 10% discount for cash payment. In-room safe, decent swimming pool area. Okay little poolside dining area with a relatively reasonably priced menu.
They have been fucking around with their listed prices for awhile, so check before you book.

ABC Hostel:

The place has an ATM Machine out front. Kudos for the convenience...for folks staying at other hotels in the area. LOL!

.

Restaurants:
Woodbell Cafe’ and Restaurant

Teodoro St. On the way to Norma’s Money Changer.

Talk about a confused place! The decor is Western-Tavern/Diner style, the food is primarily Japanese, and they also sport a decent Filipino Food menu. Some
Jap and his Pinoy wife own the place. Its quite quiet, the service is actually okay, the food comes relatively quickly and the prices are fair as well. They
have a list of nifty fruit shakes for 90php each.

There ya go...that’s about all that’s left for this month. If I forgot or missed something, go and shit up a tree. LOL!

No, I ain’t gonna complain about my old rusty and crusty physique, cause no one gives a shit nor wants to hear about that.

See ya in March. And remember now; Try and stay out of shit! LOL!
